We were so busy giving out slaps to students that we forgot to take any pictures! (Not sure that reads right somehow!)

The Starfish team spent an enjoyable morning at Kings of Wessex School in Cheddar.  Starfish Driving Instructor and Founder Andy Skyrme along with Frank Wood from Occupational Training Solutions presented some eye opening facts to an assembly of Year 13 students.  In particular the ripple effect of a Road Traffic Collision and how many people are affected by it and possibly traumatised by being involved, from the initial people in the collision, through parents, police, medical staff and beyond.

Across lunchtime the team was joined by members of the Somerset Road Safety who arrived in their display vehicle, set up shop in the tennis court and were soon showing videos of Ken Block the rally and stunt driver to an enthralled audience of students.  They also engaged with the students talking about road safety and giving out road safety freebies.
